29 Past Presenters Reflected On their Experiences at the CSDC Conference. Here's What They Said.

The July 7 deadline to submit a presentation proposal for the 2023 CSDC Conference is two weeks away.

With the deadline quickly approaching, we caught up with 29 people who previously presented at this can’t-miss-event for California charter school leaders and asked for their reflections on the event as presenters.

Here’s what they said – and why we invite you to become a presenter at #23CSDC in Anaheim on November 8-10, 2023.

Bring like-minded leaders together:

Presenting at the CSDC Conference gives you a unique opportunity to bring like-minded leaders together from across the state around a topic you have been working on. Not only do you get to share your experience, but you also get the perspective of your colleagues around your topic. — Casey Taylor, Executive Director, Achieve Charter Schools

Feel energized, validated, and inspired:

Presenting at the CSDC Conference was an honor, a challenge, and a career highlight. It provided an opportunity to solidify our best practices, make meaningful connections, and build new partnerships. The experience left me feeling energized, validated, and inspired. — Andrew Crowe, Deputy Director, Scholarship Prep

Connect with the decision-makers:

What I value most about presenting at the CSDC Conference is the opportunity to connect with charter school decision-makers and thought leaders in a deep and meaningful way. — Jerry Simmons, Partner, Young, Minney & Corr LLP

Keep the charter movement moving forward:

Presenting at the CSDC Conference has been a rewarding experience. It has provided an opportunity to both share what we think is working well for Gateway Public Schools, and to learn from many of the amazing charter leaders from across the state. The conference provides this unique opportunity to engage around ideas, best practices, and initiatives necessary for the charter movement to keep moving forward. — Chris Hero, Chief Operating Officer, Gateway Public Schools
